Job Description : Health & Safety Coordinator Location: Cameronbridge 6-months Fixed-Term Contract Closing Date: 18th Oct.' 2024 This is an opportunity for an individual to join and experience working in the Scotch Governance H&S function based in the South of Scotland. We are looking for an upbeat, and adaptable individual to join our team as an Health and Safety Coordinator based at Cameronbridge in Leven. About the Role: As a Health & Safety Coordinator in our dedicated team in the South, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting sites to attain compliance with legislation, Diageo policies, standards and protocols. In particular, this role will be pivotal in improving incident management and data assurance across Scotch. Some of the Key Responsibilities are Monitor the Enablon system for the completeness and accuracy of HSE incident logging from entry to completion. Attend sites health & safety incidents as and when required, support with H&S Accident & Incident investigations to ensure the standard process is followed and that the completion of investigations is within measured time scales. Supporting work streams to focus on driving continuous improvement & incident reduction. Working on Diageo's internal data management systems. Optimising risk assessment/work Instructions reviews and development of new documentation and conducting task-based risk assessments where appropriate. Responsible for collaborating closely with HSE and support site in taking care of site-based regulatory issues. Health and safety compliance is key and you’ll be at the forefront of making sure this is monitored alongside other key performance indicators and targets. Travelling to nearby sites as required. About You We’re looking for someone who can work well within a team as well as the ability to make effective decisions and thrive in situations where they can solve problems. You’ll be able to push forward your ideas about improvements to current approaches and appraise new opportunities. You’ll have the drive to make a positive difference in manufacturing excellence and show your excellent communication skills. You’ll have demonstrable knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and environmental risk principles.
