A leading building services consultancy is seeking aMechanical Building Services Engineerto join its growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to contribute to a variety of complex and technically challenging projects across multiple sectors, with a particular focus on healthcare.
The successful candidate will be responsible for mechanical building services design and contract supervision, ensuring high-quality project delivery from concept to completion. They will have the opportunity to work closely with clients and design teams while also supporting the development of junior engineers.Key Responsibilities:Develop conceptual and detailed design solutions in line with project briefs.Conduct detailed mechanical services design and calculations using software such as Hevacomp and Dialux.Demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and BIM.Prepare technical specifications and detailed design drawings for tendering.Carry out technical and quality reviews of project deliverables.Manage projects efficiently to ensure client satisfaction and business profitability.Represent the company professionally in meetings with clients, design teams, and contractors.Identify and manage resources to meet project deadlines.Ideal Candidate Profile:Degree/HND in a relevant engineering discipline.Working towards or having attained Chartered Engineer status.Proficiency in design software such as IES, Hevacomp, Revit, and AutoCAD.Strong written and technical skills with excellent problem-solving abilities.Effective communicator and team player with a client-focused approach.This role offers the chance to join a highly respected consultancy that prides itself on delivering innovative, sustainable designs and maintaining strong client relationships.
