We are recruiting for a Digital Marketing Assistant, someone who can be a marketing all-rounder, to join our Sales and Marketing Department to help build a foundation for the future growth of the Company.
This is an exciting time to be joining the Company as we are currently exploring multiple different marketplaces to expand into, to support with the growth of our product sales. We are also bringing in new products to expand our current range.
The main purpose of this role will be to develop and run category leading campaigns that will be published across all our marketplaces and social media channels. Additionally, you will be supporting in the management of sponsored advertising, with the objective of driving sales while maintaining profitability. You will work in close partnership with one of our Category Executives to execute marketing plans aimed at driving growth across one of our most critical product portfolios.
There will also be the opportunity to get involved with exciting new projects as the business grows, so we are keen to find someone who is willing to develop and grow with the business.
The main responsibilities of your role will be to:
• Develop new, and evolve existing, product content (both written and visual) for use across a number of channels, including our product listings.
• Keyword/SEO research and testing across various marketplaces.
• Work on Sponsored Ads and carry out analysis on the results.
• Work with the Category Management team to develop and execute plans for individual products and whole categories.
• Support with general marketing admin and reporting, including updating Company systems and documents.
• Keep an eye out for trends and opportunities to support the growth of the business.
• Work closely with other departments across the business, especially in relation to our new product launch process and quality assurance.
• Support on ad-hoc projects as required; such as a branding update, store front refresh, social media development and product videos.
To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience from a consumer goods or retailer business, working in an E-Commerce or Digital Marketing role.
You will ideally have had exposure to the Adobe Creative suite, particularly Photoshop and illustrator and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, especially Excel. Experience of working with marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay would be preferable.
You will need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong copywriting and editing skills.
You will also need to have strong analytical skills, as data gives power to our decision making.
Having a creative mindset will help, both with content creation and also problem solving.
Accuracy and attention to detail in this role is a must, along with a good understanding of SEO and marketing principles and experience of working on sponsored ads.
Hours of work will ideally be Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, although we can be flexible on this. Please let us know when you apply if you would like us to consider alternative working hours.
