About Our Client
Page Personnel is currently partnering with a well-established construction business based in Sheffield. Due to company growth, our client has an excellent, permanent Accounts Assistant position available and is looking for an experienced Finance candidate to join their finance team.
Job Description
Reporting to the Financial Controller the successful candidate will be responsible for providing crucial support to the Accounting & Finance Department including;
3. Processing of purchase invoices
4. Bank and credit card reconciliation
5. Reconciliation of Supplier Statements and prompt query resolution.
6. Processing of employee expenses.
7. Supporting with the preparation of monthly Management Accounts
8. Journals, prepayments, and accruals.
9. Fixed Asset Register.
10. VAT returns.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
11. Previous experience in AR/AP.
12. AAT qualified or qualified by experience.
13. Experience in management accounts.
14. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
15. Good organisational and time management skills.
16. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
