Senior Wealth Planner
The Senior Wealth Planner is a Certified Finance Planner professional and is the primary client contact responsible for maintaining the client financial planning relationship.
The SWP manages all aspects of the financial planning engagement and works in tandem with the client Portfolio Manager in addition to coordinating with Wealth Planners, Advisors and Analysts.
SWP’s can manage all functions including those of the Wealth Planner and Wealth Analyst.
Responsibilities:
1. Client Relationship Management
2. Act as a fiduciary on behalf of the client in all advisory related matters.
3. Act as a primary client contact on all financial planning related inquiries and projects.
4. Maintain regular communication with clients.
5. Manage and present results of planning projects.
6. Document all client communication utilizing CRM to keep the client team informed and ensure that all client related tasks are completed in a timely fashion.
7. Lead client calls and meetings and manage the follow up process.
8. Maintain communication with Wealth Advisors, where clients are shared.
9. Manage all client planning related projects from inception to completion.
10. Manage the financial planning process, coordinating scheduled, workload, client outreach, and final delivery of all planning related reporting, analyses, and services.
11. Responsible for performing financial planning research and designing solutions to client specific planning needs.
12. Annually or as needed conduct client review to identify planning opportunities and resolve outstanding planning issues.
13. Review tax, insurance, and estate planning documents, identify, and communicate planning opportunities to mitigate risks associated with each facet of client interaction.
14. Maintain current industry and planning knowledge through attendance at seminars and industry presentations.

16. Develop and coach the wealth planners. Manage workload and provide opportunities for client contact and communication.
Success Factors

4. Successfully demonstrate deep team of planning professionals by leveraging wealth planners where appropriate.
5. Build valuable relationships with COI's and outside client advisor relationships where appropriate.
Position Goals
1. Maintain CFP certification.
2. Develop in-house expertise in a variety of planning related disciplines.
3. Develop efficient planning processes and team functions.
4. Create Market identity and presence through networking/online and social media outlets, where appropriate.
Requirements
1. Experience & Education
CFP certification
Bachelor’s Degree
5+ years experience in business/finance or equivalent experience
Skills and Knowledge

2. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
3. Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
4. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

8. Knowledge of CRM and/or portfolio management system preferred.
