About the Role:
This Electrical Site Technician position requires a highly skilled professional to manage electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in line with industry standards and company policies.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities to collaborate with colleagues and clients.
Main Responsibilities:
* Ensure all electrical work adheres to current wiring regulations (e.g., IET Wiring Regulations, BS 7671) and maintains a safe working environment.
* Collaborate with project teams to achieve project deadlines, budget targets, and quality standards.
* Develop and maintain accurate records of work completed, including installation and maintenance logs, to facilitate future projects and optimize efficiency.
* Participate in site meetings to report progress, address issues, and contribute to the development of new projects.
Requirements:
* A Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation (e.g., City & Guilds 2365, NVQ Level 3)
* HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field is advantageous
* 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) certification
* Certification in inspection and testing (e.g., City & Guilds 2391) is beneficial
* 2–5 years of relevant experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or construction
* Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and adherence to company policies
* ECS Card or equivalent certification required
* Availability to work Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Compensation and Perks:
Estimated salary: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum depending on experience.
