Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Schools across Goole, East Riding

We are seeking dedicated, compassionate, and adaptable SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team on a supply basis in schools across Goole. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support children with a range of additional needs, ensuring they can access a meaningful, engaging, and inclusive education.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs, including autism, ADHD, physical disabilities, and learning difficulties.
Assisting the classroom teacher in implementing tailored learning strategies, lesson adaptations, and behavior management techniques.
Working one-to-one or in small groups with students to help them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
Providing emotional and social support to students, helping them build confidence and positive peer relationships.
Assisting with classroom preparation and ensuring a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborating with the teaching staff, SENCO, and other professionals to monitor and assess students' progress, contributing to individualized education plans (IEPs) as needed.What We're Looking For:
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN in an educational setting is desirable.
A patient, empathetic, and positive approach to supporting children's learning and well-being.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
Flexibility and adaptability to work across various schools in Goole, often at short notice.
A commitment to promoting inclusion and a passion for working with children of all backgrounds and abilities.
