Salary: £120 - £150 Per day
Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students in the absence of the regular teacher
* Follow the lesson plans provided by the school and ensure continuity in learning
* Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
* Assess student progress and provide feedback to regular teachers
* Collaborate with other staff members and participate in school activities and meetings
Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
* Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and environments
* Strong classroom management skills
* Thorough understanding of the UK National Curriculum
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
* Proficient in using technology in the classroom
* Postgraduate qualification in Education (preferred)
* Experience in teaching multiple subjects and age groups (preferred)
* Experience working with special educational needs students (preferred)
This role involves working on a supply basis, often at short notice. The working hours may vary depending on the school's needs. The role may require travel to different schools within the area.
