Job overview
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Planned and Surgical Care Directorate to work within the Management Team and directly for the Quadrumvirate leadership team and Service Managers.
The post holder will work to develop, implement and evaluate standards and systems across the directorate, supporting a culture of continuous quality and service improvement.
Working closely with the Care Groups, the post holder will contribute to the delivery of efficient patient pathways across specialties and undertake and support projects identified.
To manage the Admin Team within the Planned and Surgical Management Team and have an overview of the service to ensure robust cross-cover and teamwork at all times.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support the management team within the Directorate with the day to day management of the specialities.
You will be a key member of the Management Team, supporting the delivery of performance targets, ensuring the delivery of high quality and effective services and delivering improvement projects.
You will have line management responsibilities for the Admin Team within the Management Team. The post holder will have highly-developed interpersonal skills and a team-based approach to problem-solving as well as enthusiasm. Sound operational, people management and budgetary management skills are essential and business development experience would be an advantage.
