As a Field Performance Manager within our Water Networks at Southern Water, you will be responsible and accountable for the performance of safe, compliant, and cost-efficient operation and maintenance of all assets within a specific geographical area for our water function. You will be accountable for the efficiency, productivity, standards, and quality to ensure compliance, serviceability, and optimisation of treatment assets. As a confident leader, you will have the opportunity to drive team and individual performance in terms of productivity and utilisation target achievement whilst ensuring high standards of employee engagement and consultation.
Your key accountabilities will include:
1. Building, leading, and directing a competent and effective team to deliver compliance, levels of service, and serviceability targets.
2. Integrating asset processes into water to ensure consistency to asset issues, drive data improvements, and inform the business plan to ensure consistency and efficiency of operation.
3. Monitoring safety processes and procedures to ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements set out by Southern Water and review of ISO14001 requirements.
4. Liaising closely with service partners on works affecting our sites to ensure all standards and procedures are consistently followed.
To be successful in this role, it is essential for you to have experience in managing a team to drive optimum results to deliver high levels of performance. Water experience is desirable; however, it is essential for you to have good technical operational knowledge on processes and the ability to analyse management information, understand what the drivers are, and identify problems. As a great problem solver, you are able to make decisions in a pressuring environment using your strong management and leadership skills. Working with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, you will have a passion to collaborate with strong influencing skills to achieve our desired results of providing a high quality of service for our customers.
You will be required to be on standby rota 1 in 8 weeks where you will be expected to field event coordinate incidents in the areas of Kent.
