Your new school:
This Bristol school is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic worker to join their team as soon as possible, working full-time in and out of the classroom with a multitude of students, specialising in SEND assistance. You will be helping children throughout the entirety of the primary school, assisting with the organisation and maintenance of SEMH inclusion throughout the school. You will work with an amazing team of teachers, Teaching Assistants, and support staff alike, delivering exceptional education and ensuring the students have access to all the resources available. This BS16 school is on public transport routes and has a car park on site too.
Your new role:
With this Teaching Assistant role in this BS16 school, you will take on a leading role in the classroom and assist with group activities. Phonics and early reading expertise is essential, as well as previous experience in SEMH, emotional regulation, and good behaviour management techniques. The role will focus on assisting and helping with the safeguarding and well-being of the children attending the school while also supporting their learning.
Requirements to succeed in your new role:
1. Two working references from your most recent jobs that apply relevance to the position
2. Previous experience working within a school is desirable
3. Literacy, numeracy, and phonics experience are desirable
4. DBS on the update service. This can be done through Hays.
