Scheme Manager (20 hours per week) - temp We're looking to recruit a part-time Scheme Manager on a temporary basis in Ormskirk, working between 10am and 2pm Monday to Friday. Your new role Daily wellbeing/welfare checks for vulnerable residents who require them Reviewing and updating relevant risk assessments Routine health & safety checks, including weekly fire alarm testing Reporting repair/maintenance requirements on behalf of residents and arranging access for contractors Supporting residents to live independently within their own homes and encouraging resident involvement in scheme/community activities Managing low level anti-social behaviour and rent arrears Assisting residents, customers and visitors to the scheme with general queries Signposting residents to external services where appropriate, such as Welfare Rights, Citizens Advice and Age UK What you'll need to succeed Minimum 12 months experience delivering housing & tenancy management within a sheltered or supported housing setting Experience of managing low level ASB & rent arrears Good knowledge and understanding housing & tenancy management principles Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build & maintain relationships with vulnerable, elderly people Enhanced DBS on update service What you'll get in return Weekly pay 20 hour per week contract working 10am to 2pm Monday to Friday Hourly rates up to £16.50 per hour Option to be paid via Umbrella or PAYE What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
