We're looking for a Sales BDR Team Lead to drive our North American outbound sales efforts, manage a growing team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs), and contribute directly to revenue generation. Our BDR team is the engine of our sales pipeline, they generate leads by executing cold calls, and prospecting diligently to set our Account Executives up for success. Visit our websites to learn more about us: CarCutter / Diffusely Mission Location: Raleigh/Durham NC preferred As the North America BDR Team Leader, you will manage a team of proactive Business Development Representatives (BDRs) whose core mission is to generate high-quality sales leads. Your team is responsible for cold calling, email outreach, and strategic prospecting to identify and qualify opportunities for our Account Executives. In addition to leading your team, you will also carry a small personal sales quota to remain hands-on in the sales process. Key Responsibilities Lead & Grow a High-Performing BDR Team Manage & Mentor: Coach, mentor, and develop a team of BDRs, ensuring they are equipped with the skills to generate new business opportunities. Set & Track KPIs : Establish clear performance metrics focused on lead generation, call volumes, and appointment setting. Monitor progress and provide actionable feedback. Foster Culture : Create a high-energy, accountable, and continuously learning environment that motivates the team to exceed targets. Drive Sales & Revenue Growth Lead by example : Carry a small personal quota to stay hands-on in the sales process Data-Driven Strategy: Analyze call metrics, conversion rates, and other key performance indicators to refine and enhance outreach strategies. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Account Executives and sales leadership to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads and optimize conversion rates. Shape Sales Strategy & Execution Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with marketing and sales operations to align outbound lead generation with overall sales strategies. Process Optimization: Continuously assess and improve BDR processes, tools, and best practices to maximize efficiency. Reporting & Insights : Provide regular performance reports and insights to wider management team to drive informed decision-making. Identifying issues is good, creating solutions is great Profile Your Profile: ✔ Experience: 5 years in sales and team management, ideally within the SaaS industry. ✔ Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in exceeding quotas and scaling high-performing sales teams. ✔ Leadership Skills : Exceptional leadership and coaching abilities with a passion for development ✔ Data-Driven : Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience using CRM tools (HubSpot) ✔ Industry insight: Automotive industry knowledge is a plus but not required. ✔ Location: Raleigh/Durham (NC) is preferred What We Offer: A competitive compensation package, including a performance-based bonus.
