Technical Lead/Coordinator (Patch Management)
This role involves translating business requirements into technical solutions, coordinating tool integrations, and developing policies to enhance security and system reliability. The successful candidate will bridge business needs with technical execution, leading cross-team initiatives and ensuring compliance with best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Planning & Coordination:
o Align patch management playbooks with business requirements.
o Define technical capabilities for patch management solutions.
o Coordinate development and deployment of patch management pipelines.
* Policy Development & Governance:
o Establish server classification policies (e.g., primary vs. secondary nodes).
o Develop patch sequencing, scheduling, and rollback policies.
o Implement automated patching policies, including discovery and vulnerability scoring (e.g., CVSS, VPR).
* Integration & Automation:
o Integrate Ivanti with CMDB and SentinelOne for server synchronization.
o Manage auto-enrollment and automated patch group assignments.
o Oversee integrations with Tenable for vulnerability prioritization.
* Documentation & Communication:
o Document processes and procedures, including patching workflows.
o Act as the main liaison between business and technical teams to ensure requirements are met.
