Our client, a well established production and distribution company, are looking for an excellent Sales Administrator to join their Customer Service & Sales Team at their busy Tewkesbury Head Office. Handling a large number of incoming calls and emails from existing customers, you will take sales orders and input these into the computer system for processing, liaise with the drivers and warehouse teams and communicate delivery updates to the customers
The Role:
The ideal candidate will be confident using a range of IT solutions and will demonstrate excellent Excel, Word & Outlook skills. You will be numerate, proactive, and have a great attention to detail.
A confident and friendly telephone manner is essential, and you will be heavily involved in the upcoming transition between sales systems, so the ability to quickly pickup new programmes and workflows will be key
Key duties will include:
Processing sales orders received via emails, faxes and phone calls
Checking that all orders have been correctly input onto the computer system
Liaising with customers and depot staff regarding orders and delivery issues
Knowledge of a similar retail/distribution business would be advantageous.
Sales Administrator Key Skills
Experience of delivering excellent customer service, ensuring queries are handled in a timely manner
An understanding of the importance of exceeding expectations, and a desire to deliver excellence in all service areas
An exceptional telephone manner
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
Professional and clear communications skills, both verbal and written
Sales Administrator Working Hours:
Full time, 40 hours per week over five days from Monday to Saturday.
Approx working hours: 0830–1700 (Saturday 0800 - approx. 1400)
When a Saturday is worked, a day off in the week is given. Bank Holidays are worked on a rota basis
