We are currently in the market for experienced Oracle Apps E-Business Database Administrators to join our growing Digital, Data & Cloud Practice.
Job Description
You will be responsible for:
* Developing strategies for data migration and testing of Middleware components
* Oracle Fusion Middleware products and business applications based on Fusion Middleware technology stack
* Application Installations and Migrations
* Database builds
* Management of Middleware and Database Environments
* Third party backup and monitoring tools.
You will have:
* Expertise as an Oracle Apps E-Business DBA
* Technical expertise within:
o Oracle Fusion Middleware from 11g
o Oracle Identity and Access Management (IAM)
o Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) and Oracle Access Manager (OAM) environments
o Single Sign On (SSO)
o Oracle Weblogic Server 11g / 12c (Installation and Maintenance)
o Oracle Database 10g upwards
o Knowledge of application administration and strong DBA background in Oracle e-Business Suite
o Clustered Application & Database Environments
o LDAP / Access Directory Experience
o Experience with Cloud Technologies (OCI / AWS / Azure) (Desirable)
o Exadata (Desirable)
* Expertise within Monitoring, Alerting and Performance Tuning.
* Expertise within technical discovery, assessment, and migrations.
* Full migration lifecycle activities including, but not limited to detailed analysis, design, development, test, user acceptance test support and production implementation.
* Identifying and correcting performance issues, reviewing systems and error logs, storage management, backups, job monitoring, optimization efforts, data integrity analysis and resolving database contention issues.
* The migration of pre-production and production database services.
* Performance tuning and optimization skills.
* Disaster recovery methods and capacity planning.
* Working in large database environments.
