Join a vital legal journey as the primary advisor for senior management at Brambles, addressing diverse issues that impact both the company and the community. Your role involves tackling daily legal challenges, drafting and negotiating key contracts, managing risks and disputes, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Collaboration with multiple departments and external firms will be essential, as will your involvement in strategic projects and sustainability efforts.
Key responsibilities include:
Serve as the primary legal advisor for senior management and regional support teams.
Address a wide range of legal issues impacting Brambles and the community.
Draft and negotiate key contracts with major clients and suppliers.
Manage risks and disputes, determining when to involve external legal experts.
Lead training sessions on compliance issues, including code of conduct and competition matters.
Negotiate agreementsrelated to plant operations, logistics, asset management, and real estate.
Oversee customer and procurement contracts across Europe.
Conduct market share analysis and build relationships with external law firms.
Collaborate with various functions on strategic projects and sustainability initiatives.
Support country leadership teams and engage in EU projects.
Contribute to legal operations transformation, optimising legal processes and implementing technology driven efficiencies.

Desired skills & experience...
A minimum of 4-5 years of PQE in corporate law
Must be a registered lawyer authorised to practice in the UK
Experience in competition and civil law ( advantageous )
Blended experience in private practice and in-house
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to provide commercially relevant insights
Familiarity with intellectual property law
