We currently have a vacancy for a Business Development Director to bebased in Leeds, Bristol, Warwick or Swansea
The BDM will join our Sales and Marketingteam, reporting to the Group Growth Director.
From identifying ideal client profiles to nurturing relationships and crafting winning strategies, this role orchestrates the prospect journey to secure qualified opportunities for agency teams.
The Cluster stage is about finding the ideal client profiles and tracking them
within Ideal Client Clusters. The Connect stage concentrates on identifying
Prospect Need Indicators to make timely communications which connect with
our ideal clients. Convince is about developing relationships, sometimes over time,
with a process-led approach for success.
Ultimately you will own the prospect journey from initial chat, through nurture,
until we have a fully qualified opportunity to hand over to the agency teams with a
completed sales strategy and approach to win.
You'll be responsible for:
* Leading the Cluster, Connect, and Convince stages of the AC Sales Process.
* Strategically profile and target clients, leveraging our brands, case studies, and expertise.
* Engage prospects with tailored communications, aligning our services with their needs.
* Secure and conduct introductory meetings, projecting a compelling vision of collaboration.
* Nourish prospects with thought leadership and industry insights to add substantial value.
* Identify and qualify opportunities, equipping agency pitch teams with comprehensive sales strategies.
* Represent the organisation at industry events and conferences.
* Conduct regular pipeline reviews and collaborate with agency teams to ensure optimal outreach.
* Drive process enhancements and share insights from lost deals.
Tools to help you do the Job:
* Centralised marketing support targeting key markets.
* Utilisation of HubSpot for end-to-end process management.
* LinkedIn Sales Navigator with HubSpot integration.
* Access to leading marketing tools including Ad Intel, BrandWatch, and TGI.
* A network of subject experts andfounders across various specialties.
KPIs:
* Lead generation metrics.
* Number of initial meetings.
* Opportunities generated.
* Total value of generated opportunities.

* Agency experience in Performance Media or Insight/Research is desirable.

The salary range for this role is circa £55,000and this is dependent on skills and experience.
