Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Technician working in our engineering department. This role is responsible for ensuring the availability and dependability of our large-scale heavy plant/vehicle equipment to support the terminal's efficient operation. This will include troubleshooting motors, inverter drives, and programmable logic controllers. The Electrical Technician's critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of terminal operations involves maintaining the accessibility and reliability of all large-scale equipment on site.
We are a 24/7 operation this role will be Day and Night shifts, working 12 hours at a time. The good news is you get every other weekend off!
The shift is as follows:
Working 2 Day Shifts, 2 Days Off, Working 3 Night Shifts, 2 Days off, Working 2 Day shifts, 3 Days off. This then repeats.
About The Role
How will you contribute:
1. To competently carry out preventive maintenance and repair works, in accordance with company safety standards and to minimise equipment downtime. (This may involve mechanical duties)
2. Collect data/information while carrying out work on any asset and provide to the Engineering Planners
