The client specialises in the design and manufacture of electronic-scanning ground radar systems, providing solutions for national border security, counter-drone, perimeter security, wide area surveillance, and coastline security. Their radars are reputed for reliability and protect lives and critical assets globally.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining accurate product specifications, test, and build records in the PLM database
Drafting and ensuring accurate implementation of Engineering Change Requests (ECRs)
Providing information to support component and source approval
Supporting in-house radar testing and assisting design engineers
Liaising with manufacturing and component suppliers on technical matters
Advising on supply challenges, including obsolescence issues
Supporting electronic and mechanical assembly as required
Job Requirements:
Experience in production and manufacturing sectors
Understanding of electronic and mechanical engineering processes
Familiarity with technical drawings (specifications, drawings)
Experience with PLM systems
Experience in electronic (including PCBA) and mechanical assembly
Proficiency in CAD is advantageous
Full UK driving licence
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
