As a FORD Technician, you’ll be responsible for the diagnosis, repair and service of the full range of brand products. You’ll also undertake vehicle road testing and will be responsible for ensuring vehicle parts are handled and stored appropriately. And of course, you’ll also play your part in ensuring that our customers receive great service, from start to finish.
This is not an exhaustive list of duties and the post holder will be required to undertake any other reasonable duties discussed and directed by the line manager.

Here's what you'll be doing:
1. Utilise your technical expertise to diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues using cutting-edge diagnostic tools and equipment.
2. Perform a variety of servicing tasks, including oil changes, brake pad replacements, filter changes and everything from clutch replacement to engine replacement and timing belts.
3. Communicate effectively with customers, explaining repairs clearly and keeping them informed throughout the process.
4. Ensure all work adheres to Ford's strict quality and safety standards.
5. Continuously learn and develop your skills by participating in our comprehensive training programs.
Required Criteria:
1. A minimum qualification of NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, City & Guilds, or equivalent.
2. Experience working in a fast-paced automotive environment.
3. A strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
4. Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
5. The ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure.
6. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
7. A valid UK driving license.
