This job will be based in the community seeing adults with acquired communication and swallowing difficulties in their own homes, care homes, nursing homes, and outpatient clinics.
Responsibilities include:
1. Domiciliary visits across north, mid, and south Bedfordshire to patients in their own homes and nursing and care homes.
2. Outpatient clinics.
3. Participate in the videofluoroscopy clinic based at Bedford Hospital alongside senior clinicians. Training will be provided if required.
4. Conduct training sessions on communication and dysphagia to other professionals.
5. Attend MDTs.

This is a Band 6 role, but both Band 6 and Band 5 JDs are attached. If no suitable Band 6 applicants are found, we will accept Band 5 to 6 development.
