Are you looking for a part-time job for Tuesday nights?
Would you love a rewarding role, supporting a child with complex health needs in their family home?
Come and join one of the UK's largest providers of complex care.
Within the Care in the Home division, we support children with complex health needs to live at home with their families.
We'd like you to join us as a Children’s Support Worker at our young client's home in Poole.
Meet the Client:
I am 11 years old. I have complex care needs and am non-verbal. I need compassionate carers who will take time to get to know me, so that you can more easily read my non-verbal communication. Additionally, be quick-thinking and proactive to keep me safe at night. I particularly like music and can hum you lots of tunes. Mummy says I am an easy boy; getting to know me is key, and if you take time to know me, I really am, and your time supporting me will be very rewarding.
When you'll be working:
* Tuesday nights (9pm-7am)
* 1 regular night a week, but flexibility to cover Monday nights too when needed
What you'll be doing:
This role is to support a young boy with complex health needs in his family home overnight. This will involve supporting him with his clinical equipment. Full training, shadow shifts, and ongoing support will be provided.
What you'll have:
* Kind and caring nature
* Flexibility & reliability
* Good communication skills
What to look forward to:
* Up to £13.50 per hour (depending on experience)
* Full specialist training, shadow shifts, and ongoing support from the Care Manager provided
* Accrued holiday pay
* Regular consistent work with rolling rotas
* Flexible zero hours contract
