It is an exciting time for IRATA. To accommodate IRATA's global growth, we are developing a focused team dedicated to servicing IRATA's growing stakeholders. A new and exciting role based at IRATA's head office in Ashford, UK has been identified - Corporate Membership Services Assistant.
The candidate will ideally:
1. be up to the challenge, self-driven, motivated, and willing to work as part of a dynamic brand and forward-thinking team;
2. be multi-skilled and pro-active;
3. have relevant qualifications and experience in several rope access related operational sectors;
4. have the ability to explain and deliver technical information and interact with both internal and external stakeholders in the disciplines we deal with;
5. have good attention to detail.
Having an attitude to help, listen and learn is key to the role.
This is an office based, full-time position working from IRATA’s head offices in Ashford, UK. The core working hours are 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
Upon successful completion of a three month probationary period the successful applicant will receive:
1. 20 days holiday entitlement per annum (pro-rata), including public holidays with annual loyalty increments up to an additional five days;
2. inclusion into our qualifying pension scheme after three months of service;
3. gym membership;
4. healthcare.
Reporting to the Corporate Membership Services Supervisor, the post holder will:
1. have full eligibility to work in the UK;
2. complete everyday administrative tasks relating to the Corporate Membership Department;
3. answer telephone calls on behalf of the department;
4. provide statistical information and reports to management when requested;
5. participate in projects relating to the department;
6. maintain database(s) and member records;
7. provide prospective new members with information about IRATA;
8. assist with membership events;
9. ensure adherence to IRATA data protection policy & procedure;
10. co-ordinate IRATA audit of members and new membership applicants.
The person we seek will ideally meet the following criteria and be able to demonstrate the following skills:

2. Ability to communicate and develop professional relationships at all levels within and outside the association.
3. To represent IRATA positively and professionally at all times.

Qualifications & Experience
Essential
1. Good communication skills.
2. A knowledge of statistics with good numeracy.
3. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office software.
Desired
1. A Level or equivalent qualification.
