Hours: hours per week
Shifts: 9:am to 5:pm, 2 days a week including 1 weekend day per month

We are looking for a compassionate and caring Well-being and Activities Coordinator to join our family at Hampden Hall Care Centre. About the role:
* Identify residents' activity needs and wishes through discussion, assessment, and observation, and produce a varied programme based on these findings
* Explore the most appropriate methods and resources for meeting activity needs, including group events and individual sessions, involving internal and external sources and community-based resources
* Organise theme and fundraising events as required, based on local holidays, traditions, etc.
* Organise outings as appropriate, giving consideration to safety needs and staffing requirements
* Manage monthly activity budgets for entertainment, materials, and outings in accordance with Company procedures
* Ensure risk assessments have been carried out on all activities and outings
* Produce newsletters in accordance with the company newsletter procedure
* Take photos of our residents around the home, create engaging content, and update our social media pages on a daily basis
About you:
* The right to live and work in the UK (please note, sponsorship is not available)
* Ability to work in a team, a caring nature, and a positive attitude
* An understanding of Health and Safety
* An understanding of emotional, social, physical, psychological, and intellectual needs of vulnerable people
* Ability to engage others in recreational activities
* Previous experience in a similar position in a care home is desirable but not essential
