This role is based in our Curaleaf Laboratories division. Curaleaf Laboratories is a leading manufacturer and distributor of medical cannabis in the UK. As a Production Operative, you will manufacture medicine orders in a timely and accurate manner, in compliance with company policies and guidelines from external regulatory bodies.
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
* Following methodologies and manufacturing techniques to fulfil orders in non-sterile and clean room environments
* Conduct regular checks on equipment, calibrating or adjusting when necessary
* Maintain accurate records and logbooks in line with process, quality, and health & safety requirements
* Operate within a cleanroom environment, maintaining its integrity to minimise risk of contamination
* Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications before packaging
* Transfer both non-hazardous and hazardous waste materials to correct collection areas for disposal
* Manage own time and available resources to enable successful completion of personal and departmental targets

Although you will be part of a team with shared goals, you must be just as comfortable working autonomously to achieve your personal targets. With opening times between 6am and 8pm, you must have a flexibility with shift pattern. It is essential you:

* Ability to prioritise, demonstrating great time management skills
* Have a good level of dexterity
* Adopt a flexible approach
* Maintain calmness and accuracy in a busy environment
* Can trouble-shoot and use your own judgement effectively
Although not essential, experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment would be great for this role, ideally with a pharmaceutical company.
