About the team As part of Worldpay’s Strategy & Acquisitions team, our small, diverse global team spans three continents and is responsible for providing research and analysis to help the business make informed decisions. We track and analyse industry and competitor trends, research, design and write signature thought leadership, manage access to external data, and share and facilitate access to an ever-expanding repository of knowledge and insights. Primary responsibilities: Develop and maintain financial models to track industry and competitor trends and generate actionable recommendations Analyse financial statements of industry players to identify potential acquisition targets and business partners Produce research papers on key industry and competitor themes and distribute summaries at a regular cadence Advise senior leadership on competitors, broad market dynamics and threats that have implications for business strategy Collaborate with Research and Strategy team to influence and align corporate-wide research and development decisions with corporate vision and strategy Other related duties assigned as needed What you bring CFA and/or CPA qualification 3 years equity research, corporate credit research or similar relevant experience, with exposure to payments industry preferred Experience in conducting market research, competitor analysis, and evaluating new market opportunities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and results-driven approach.
