We have an ideal development opportunity in our Cancer Services team for an enthusiastic and experienced pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical care for patients within this specialty.
We have a great oncology and haematology multi-disciplinary team who have a well-established service. The post-holder will be an integrated member of this team providing in-patient provision as well as a clinical service to patients visiting our chemotherapy day unit.

As the Advanced Clinical Pharmacist, Oncology, Haematology Palliative Care and Technical Services you will support the Lead Pharmacist to provide an oncology and haematology clinical pharmacy service to our chemotherapy day unit and inpatient haematology ward.
You willcarry-out the release of systemic anticancer treatments (SACT & CIVAS) and clinical trials products prepared by the aseptic production unit and support the development of our pharmacy technicians to undertake this role themselves.
As an advanced pharmacist you will be a source advice for pharmacists and other healthcare professionals for cancer services and will participate in multidisciplinary and governance meetings.
