We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Associate Director to join our forward thinking Mission Critical team in London.
What does the role involve?
As an Associate Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Civil Engineers and overseeing efficient project delivery within the team.
Key duties include:
1. Design and technical support to a project team including senior engineers, engineers and CAD technicians.
2. Carrying out engineering concept to detailed design, tender and contract on site supervision, ensuring projects are undertaken in accordance with agreed scope.
3. Project Management ensuring projects are completed within the agreed time frame and budget by monitoring and controlling project progress, design changes and project budget.
4. Overseeing collaboration with internal and external design team members.
5. Client facing contact.
6. Working closely with the divisional manager to support on bids, team resourcing and team development etc.
7. Line Management responsibilities including performance reviews and supporting and guiding those that are early on in their careers.
To be successful in this role you’ll possess:
Youll have significant experience in a similar role, ideally with data centre projects along with a degree in Civil Engineering (Masters preferred) and professional status in the form of IEng/CEng.
Youll be a great communicator and be both great at managing client relationships but also comfortable managing a team whilst supporting and empowering them.
