We are looking for experienced .Net Software Developers to join our growing B2B FinTech business in Bristol!
You will be developing Broadridge's Fund Communication Solutions, a global digital platform that supports data, documents, and regulatory reporting needs for the investment industry.
Role Responsibilities
1. Responsible for maintaining and extending .Net Web and Windows applications in a collaborative and supportive fast-paced agile development environment creating the next generation of innovative applications and services for the funds industry.
2. Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
3. Adhere to good design practices and ensure standards are maintained as part of code reviews to ensure secure, robust, maintainable, scalable, and extendable applications.
4. Create wireframes and deliver quality software.
5. Assist in testing of applications, ensuring software quality and excellence of UI/UX design is maintained to the highest standards.
6. Work as part of an agile (scrum) multi-functional systems development team.
7. Conduct operations support activities and troubleshooting to support the business.
8. Work on a variety of projects and different technologies simultaneously.
9. Work on all aspects of the implementation including database, back-end logic, and UI.
Requirements
1. Ability to communicate and work well with stakeholders internally.
2. Ability to work as part of a scrum team and participate in peer programming.
3. Knowledge of some of the following: Design Patterns, SOLID principles, Inversion of Control, and RESTful Web Services.
4. Experience in some of the following: MVC, WebAPI, .NET Core, HTML5, CSS3, Entity Framework, Entity Framework Core, and ASP.NET Web Forms.
5. Good standard of English.
6. Eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
7. TDD, designing and writing unit tests.
8. Writing, maintaining, and tuning SQL Server stored procedures.
9. Some experience with or knowledge of UX best practices.
10. Some experience with or knowledge of web security best practices.
Hybrid at Broadridge
We are made up of high-performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remotely.
