Currently seeking Debrief Clerk for a flexible and reliable third party logistics (3PL) provider in the Burton-on-Trent area.
Working Pattern
Monday - Friday, 14:00 - 22:00
Job role
* Assist Managers with planning and arrange National Primary trailer servicing including tracking trailer movements, organising return to Burton workshop and third party servicing to ensure adherence to O Licence requirements.
* Effective asset management
* Thorough and accurate debrief of all Primary drivers. Complete in full ops control sheet including Vehicles and KPI's tabs, correct errors. Check Gloucester drivers start/finish times in Dx. Contact agency if drivers missing in DX.
* Effective and accurate information gathering and processing
* Provide primary activity reports as requested by management i.e. shunt log, IDT log.
* Effective and accurate information /data gathering and processing
* Maintain the own driver and subcontractor POD and DNC process and return of documentation from other sites and contractors, ensuring timely and accurate confirmation of deliveries via own and customer electronic systems. Ensure pod report is run daily and outstanding pods from previous day are chased - day shift clerk.
* Management of key systems
* Maintain relevant debrief systems update as required i.e. DX - ensure it matches ops control sheet, TMS, Operations Control Sheet, Key 2, Aurora
* Management of key systems
* Filing of operations paperwork i.e. Ops13, seal manifest, drivers sheets, defect sheets and POD's etc.
* Data / information handling
* Support Shift manager with running the operation i.e. answering phones, yard checks, system update, issuing paperwork/vehicles etc.
* Customer Service
* Update Key 2 and defect log, defect filing
* Effective and accurate information /data gathering and processing
* Support shift Managers with resource planning, fleet and financial reporting as required. Populate ops control sheet with night driver names and start times
* Effective and accurate information /data gathering and processing
* Ad hoc admin duties as required by management
