Female Support Worker - Waking Nights - Farnham
Full & Part-Time Role available
£12.33 per hour

Five gentlemen who Dimensions support at their home in Farnham would like a new Female Waking Night Support Worker to join the team who enable them to live an independent life.
The gentlemen, aged in their teens to 50s and are autistic/have learning disabilities, are an outgoing group. They would be happy to meet a full or part-time Female Waking Night Support Worker who would like to help with their nighttime routine and keep them safe throughout the night.
Tasks Waking Night Support Workers will undertake include:
* Carrying out “keeping safe checks” at regular intervals to ensure the people we support are safe and comfortable.
* Ensuring that the environment is clean and sanitary.
* Keeping written records, using IT systems as required, including support plans, incident logs, and health and safety records.
* Creating a calm therapeutic environment for the people we support.
* Supporting people to make the most of their late evenings/nights when they wish to.
* Providing personal care when required.
The gentlemen want you to know that not all of them use words to communicate, but they have other ways of letting you know what they want. If you have not had to communicate in this way before, don’t worry. Dimensions provide all Female Waking Night Support Workers with full training.
Night shifts from 22:00 to 07:30, and Dimensions are pleased to offer a pay rate of £12.33 per hour for this role.
