The Supply Register are proud to be working as a managed service provider of the Two Counties Trust. We are working in collaboration with the Seconday Schools within the trust, to support their delivery of education by providing engaging and passionate staff, who assist across all age groups on a supply basis.
We are currently looking for an experienced Cover Supervisor to support across the Design and Technology department on a full time basis from January 2025. You will be supporting the delivery within subject specific lessons and also supporting as general cover as required.
This role will require previous experience within a Design and Technology area, with the ideal candidate being hands on with practical elements of the delivery and supporting the class teacher to coordinate the practicals with the students.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be required to engage with students and create a classroom environment that promotes a positive learning experience and drives the development of students.
To be eligible, you must have:
Previous teaching or tutoring experience alongside an understanding of Key Stage 3 and 4 curriculums.
Previous experience of Design and Technology practicals e.g. graphic design, food technology, product design, resistant materials, textiles, etc.
Strong behaviour management skills and confidence working with Secondary School aged children.
A valid DBS check (or be willing to apply for one)
A flexible and adaptable approach to work
A passion for teaching and learning
