What does this role involve?
You will be working as part of a wider IT team on a number of different products.
You will work as part of a cross-functional product team as required, and use Python, AWS, Docker, MongoDB and FastAPI.
You will code software and enhancements using defined development practices and standards.
You will follow the appropriate processes to ensure that code is released in a controlled and secure manner.
You will be required to pick up on ad hoc work when required.
Who are we looking for?
Your current commercial Python skills and continued interest in developing and enhancing these, will be key to your success in this role.
Your wider understanding of AWS, Docker, MongoDB and FastAPI, will provide you with a solid base from which to grow.
Your experience within an Agile (Scrum) working environment, alongside your problem-solving skills, will enable you to hit the ground running.
Your strong communications skills will enable you to speak in both technical and non-technical language, to clarify requirements and business needs.?
In this role, you will be working in the following environment: Python, AWS, Docker, PyCharm, TDD, Unit testing, MongoDB, Jira, BitBucket, Agile and Waterfall
To be successful in this role you may be required to pass an enhanced security vetting process.
This role may involve on-call working on a rota basis (24/7).
