A vacancy has arisen for a Health Care Support Worker in the NHS Grampian Podiatry Service within Health & Social Care Moray.
This post-holder will largely support the Highly Specialised Podiatrist Team by taking an active clinical role in a range of care settings e.g. hospital outpatients departments, community clinics and at times be required to visit patients’ own homes, care homes and hospital wards.
Applicants should have excellent communication skills, have a caring and compassionate character and understand the importance of confidentiality. They must have the ability to work well within a team, be flexible and be able to carry out assigned duties as directed by the podiatry staff. Duties in clinical settings will include assisting clinicians during hands-on care (including minor surgical procedures), maintaining infection control standards and following health and safety policies.
