Pricing Director Leeds/UK Q Underwriting Full time Permanent
We are recruiting for a Pricing Director with proven leadership experience to join our passionate team.

Responsibilities:
6. Lead and develop a pricing function to providing pricing support including the deployment and management of pricing software
7. Providing pricing insights to the business offering your professional advice and support to senior management on a regular basis
8. Oversee pricing performance through underwriting committee and also lead the production of quarterly ultimate loss ratios
9. Stakeholder engagement: a senior management role as part of the leadership team of the MGU and leading pricing conversations in the wider business as well as with external partners including insurers, reinsurers, captives etc.
10. People development: Develop an inclusive pricing team, and be an advocate in creating an environment of success
11. Captive and alternative capacity solutions – play a key role in the development of a captive insurance company by supporting with financial projections, coverage design, experience monitoring and profitability analysis
12. Risk Pricing and Trading Corridor alignment - Work with the CUO and Portfolio directors to ensure price strength sits within a pre-agreed target range within a 3 year period including implementation of NB / Renewals price strength across the whole suite of Q products.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
13. Relevant Sector Experience - Significant experience in property and casualty, specialty lines is crucial
14. Pricing Experience - Demonstrated experience in pricing insurance products, including the development and implementation of new pricing strategies
15. Previous experience in leadership roles, such as managing teams of actuaries or analysts
16. Project Management - experience managing large, complex projects and cross-functional initiatives.
17. Highly collaborative and positive.
18. High personal integrity.
19. Resilient and able to work with ambiguity.
20. Insurance/Actuarial qualification or qualified by experience
21. Degree: A bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, finance, or a related field.
