About the role: We are looking for a passionate and engaging KS1 Teacher to join a supportive and innovative team in this fantastic school. You will be responsible for delivering the National Curriculum to a lively class of young learners, with a strong emphasis on creativity, critical thinking, and outdoor learning. The role will involve planning, teaching, and assessing children’s progress in line with the school’s vision of developing well-rounded, inquisitive, and confident individuals. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment, ensuring that each child’s individual needs are met, and encouraging them to reach their full potential.
Application Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in Key Stage 1.• A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt to various learning styles.• A creative and dynamic approach to teaching, with a focus on nurturing intellectual curiosity.• An understanding of and enthusiasm for the school’s eco-friendly approach and outdoor learning.• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and motivate students.• Use a variety of teaching strategies to cater to the different learning styles and abilities of children.• Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages a love for learning.• Assess, monitor, and track students' progress and provide regular feedback to both children and parents.• Work collaboratively with other teaching staff to develop and implement the curriculum.
