Queen’s University Belfast is seeking to recruit a senior leadership role of Head of International Partnerships to drive and enhance our global engagement strategy. You will collaborate with senior internal and external stakeholders and manage activity with strategic and anchor partners with whom the University has extensive, multi-faceted links.
As an expert in the field of academic partnership development you will work closely with senior academic staff to identify and build strong partnerships that have longevity and enhance the University’s global presence.
You will play a pivotal role in the establishment and effective leadership of the International Partnerships team and be responsible for providing strategic direction, operational delivery and thought leadership.

About the person:
1. They will have an Honours degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
2. An expert in the field, they will have a demonstrable track record of success in the development and management of academic partnerships to deliver significant commercial outcomes.
3. They will have extensive experience of internationalisation and experience of working in student recruitment in the Higher Education sector and be able to provide evidence of tangible results.
4. An experienced manager of senior professionals and of managing significant budgets, they will thrive in a commercial, target-driven environment and operate at a senior/strategic level.
5. Exceptional relationship management skills are a prerequisite, capable of working effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
