Our client, a reputable company in the construction sector, is currently seeking skilled Electricians to join their team on a contract basis. The role involves working on an Energy from Waste plant in West Bromwich, encompassing various industrial tasks such as containment, trunking, tray, conduit, and cabling in heavy metal environments, including waste bunkers and boiler rooms.
Key Responsibilities:
Installing electrical systems and components, including containment, trunking, tray, conduit, and cabling
Maintaining and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations on-site
Working collaboratively with other trades and professionals
Providing support and supervision to electrical mates
Conducting inspections and testing of electrical installations
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
Carrying out tasks in challenging environments, such as waste bunkers and boiler rooms
Job Requirements:
Valid ECS card
Experience in industrial electrical installations and maintenance
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
Ability to work from technical drawings and schematics
Excellent problem-solving skills
Flexibility to work overtime and night shifts if needed
Additional Information:
Start date: Monday 14th of April
Contract length: 6 months rolling
Working hours: 07:00 - 17:00
Drug & Alcohol test on induction
