The Role
The successful candidate will:
* Deliver engaging and high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential opportunities to teach Key Stage 5).
* Inspire students with a passion for scientific enquiry and critical thinking.
* Contribute to curriculum planning and assessment to ensure the best possible outcomes for all learners.
* Be committed to fostering a positive learning environment that supports the academic and personal development of students.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to drive innovation and improvement within the Science department.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Have a degree in a relevant Science discipline.
* Demonstrate a track record of delivering excellent teaching and learning.
* Be passionate about Science education and committed to student success.
* Possess strong communication and organisational skills.
* Be willing to contribute to wider school life and extracurricular activities.
