Job Description: Injection Mould Setter
Location: Stevenage down (Hertfordshire)
Position: Injection Mould Setter
Hours: 41.5 hours per week (08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Thursday, 08:00 - 16:00 Fridays)
Overtime and flexible hours available

We are currently seeking a skilled Injection Mould Setter to join our dynamic and growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Injection Mould Setter at Neptune Engineering, you will be an integral part of our production team. Your main responsibilities will include:
Safe Mounting and Dismounting of Injection Mould Tools - Handling the safe and efficient mounting/dismounting of injection mould tools.
Accurate Setting of Injection Moulding Tools - Ensuring mould tools are accurately set up and optimally operating the moulding machines.
Tool Changes and Process Set-up - Effectively performing tool changes, adjusting machine settings, and setting up processes for efficient production.
Machine Maintenance - Performing regular maintenance on injection moulding machines to ensure smooth operation.
Tool Trials - Running and analyzing tool trials, making adjustments as necessary to ensure product quality.
Quality Control - Performing quality checks on products to ensure compliance with the highest industry standards.
Engineering Machine Use - Using a range of engineering machines safely and efficiently as part of the moulding process.
Working in a Modern Tool Room - Operating in a well-equipped, state-of-the-art tool room with access to the latest technology and machinery.
Modification and Maintenance of Injection Mould Tools - Maintaining, repairing, and modifying injection mould tools as required.
Preparing New Mould Tools for Production - Preparing and ensuring new mould tools are ready for the production process.Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
Experience in general toolmaking, including milling, grinding, and fitting.
Knowledge of Injection Moulding processes and machinery.
Strong understanding of tool changes, process set-ups, and machine maintenance.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
A keen eye for quality control and maintaining high production standards.
Experience in modifying and maintaining injection mould tools.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.Additional Information:
