Role: MuleSoft Architect Duration: 12 months Rate: £500 - £630 per day Inside IR35 Location: Hybrid / Leicester OR HursleyClearance: SC and NPPV3 Responsible for architecting, designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions using the MuleSoft platform. This includes designing and building integrations between Salesforce, MuleSoft, and third-party systems, implementing security protocols, and ensuring the overall performance and scalability of the integration solutions. Responsibilities Establish MuleSoft Technical Governance and Best Practices - Define coding standards, integration frameworks, and architectural guidelines for scalable development API & Integration Execution - Own API design (REST, SOAP, Streaming APIs) and oversee data flows between Salesforce, MuleSoft, and external systems, ensuring security, performance, and best practices. Developer Support & Code Reviews - Support and guide MuleSoft developers as they onboard, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices Technical Feasibility & Estimation - Work with the Salesforce Solution Architect to scope technical feasibility and effort for new requirements Performance Optimisation & Scalability - Optimise integrations to ensure high performance and scalability across Salesforce, Mulesoft, and third-party systems. Security & Compliance - Implement secure authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, SAML) and enforce integration security best practices aligned with compliance standards Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and integration patterns Stay up-to-date with the latest MuleSoft technologies and best practices Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the development and deployment of integration solutions Nice to Have: Salesforce Development Expertise (LWC, Apex, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud) CI/CD & DevOps for Salesforce & Mulesoft Experience with Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven, and Alassian Suite Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure Mulesoft certifications, such as MuleSoft Certified Developer or MuleSoft Certified Architect
