We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support financial transactions, bookkeeping, and payroll processing within a compassionate and community-focused organisation in Chelmsford. This role involves processing invoices, managing supplier payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate financial records. You will also liaise with customers to resolve queries and monitor outstanding payments. This is a 6 month contract based in the heart on Chelmsford with parking. Key Responsibilities: Process invoices, receipts, and payroll transactions Manage supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance Liaise with customers regarding outstanding payments and queries Support financial reporting and work closely with the Finance ManagerSkills & Experience: Experience in bookkeeping, accounts, or finance administration Proficiency in accounting software and Excel Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to work independently and collaborativelyThis is a great opportunity to join a dedicated organisation making a real difference in people’s lives
