The Talent Acquisition Partner will provide 360 end-to-end recruitment support for Retail and Contact Centre teams, ensuring a seamless hiring process for these key business areas. Acting as a strategic internal consultant, they will source, screen, and present top talent that fully meets the brief and competency-based criteria to fulfil the role, while ensuring positive collaboration and communication with hiring managers throughout. They will also develop contingency plans for hard-to-fill roles and project manage for Seasonal Peak hiring and New Store Openings, driving efficiency and excellence in talent acquisition.

What you’ll be doing
Recruitment & Talent Attraction
* Full accountability for all Retail Management roles, Seasonal Retail and Contact Centre peak and New Store Openings.
* Act as the first point of contact for hiring managers, taking full and accurate job briefs and meeting recruitment SLA’s at every stage of the recruitment process.
* Actively assisting with telephone interviewing and other selection processes including Assessment Centres for volume roles.
* Build strong relationships with top talent, keeping them engaged throughout the recruitment process and supporting a strong Talent Pool for Retail & CC.
* Collaborate with HRBPs, hiring managers, and external partners with a One Team mindset.
* Proactively source and market map candidates, keeping hiring managers informed at every stage.
* Create engaging advertising copy for Internal /External Websites.
* Advise hiring managers on candidate selection, ensuring the right talent progresses.
* Train and support line managers in using the ATS for efficient candidate tracking.
* Ensure interviews and assessment events are set up speedily and effectively with all necessary supporting documentation.
* Facilitating Assessment Centres for volume roles.
* Facilitate Hire with Pride and Attract and Select training, and ensure this is completed with all managers ahead of a recruitment cycle.
* Gather and deliver interview feedback, maintaining transparency and compliance, ensuring HWP interview notes are completed and stored securely.
* Manage the offer process, ensuring all administration is completed and candidates are kept engaged during notice periods.
* Take a creative and proactive approach with ‘hard fill’s – adapting sourcing strategies as required.
* Operate as a Brand Ambassador, closely following business performance in all channels.
Analytics
* Track and report recruitment KPIs, providing clear insights on resourcing activity and performance.
* Deliver weekly vacancy updates to hiring managers, ensuring full visibility on live roles.
* Analyse and optimize recruitment channels, measuring effectiveness to enhance sourcing strategies.
The skills and experience you’ll need
* Excellent operational knowledge of all aspects of multisite Retail recruitment including volume recruitment at peak. An understanding of Contact Centre recruitment is a bonus.
* Experience of volume recruitment strategies and working in a fast retail environment.
* 360-degree recruitment experience gained from an in-house recruitment role with a focus on managing a position end to end from inception through to delivery.
* Knowledge of recruitment methods and processes including market mapping.
* Strong project planning abilities to support and lead successful seasonal peaks and New Store openings.
* Ability to educate, influence, and promote Equality, Diversity, and Inclusivity in all recruitment strategies.
* Proven experience of delivering against Recruitment KPIs. Time to hire, cost per hire etc., and ability to manage multiple open roles concurrently.
* Social media & LinkedIn experience - with previous experience of delivering against a direct recruitment model using a range of innovative approaches to recruit talent into key business areas, reducing reliance on recruitment agencies.
* Self-starter - Ability to work at pace and under pressure to resource candidates that meet the brief promptly whilst keeping costs down.
* Strong communication & Influencing skills – able to influence key stakeholders and build credible relationships quickly and effectively – keeping key stakeholders informed at every stage of the recruitment process.
* Professional approach to all situations ensuring a positive candidate experience is managed at all times.
* Can-do attitude - willingness to embrace ways of working, remaining team-focused at all times and working closely and supporting other Talent Acquisition Partners and wider People Team.
* Adept at working with recruitment systems & technology - previous experience of working with ATS & CRM systems to recruit talent into key business areas.
* Confident to deliver Hiring Best Practice Training to the business.
* Knowledge of up-to-date employment legislation.
