The Croft Primary School is looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis within a class with a pupil with specific needs. The contract is fixed term, linked to the needs of the individual pupil and the hours will cease if the child leaves school or may be amended on review.
The successful candidate will:
1. Be positive, imaginative and consistent with proven classroom experience working with children with SEND.
2. Be able to form positive relationships with children and adults and work well as part of a team.
3. Show initiative and be able to adapt activities to suit the needs of the children.
4. Be a team player and work to support our school ethos of helping our children become resilient, compassionate and responsible citizens.
5. Be confident and proficient in liaising with other professionals.

Hours: Part time: 13.25 hours TA and 3 hours lunchtime supervision. For the right candidate school can be flexible with when these hours are undertaken (eg. Either full days or part days).
