About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Contracts Manager to oversee a prestigious life sciences project in Oxford. Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the end-to-end delivery of M&E packages within the life sciences sector, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance.
2. Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
3. Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives.
4. Ensure all M&E works are compliant with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
5. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain seamless project delivery.
6. Provide technical expertise and problem-solving solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
7. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and maintain health and safety standards.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as an M&E Contracts Manager, preferably within the life sciences or related sectors.
2. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, with a focus on complex installations.
3. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
4. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
5. Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND, NVQ, or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering).
6. Proficiency in project management tools and software.
