The Role of Vehicle and Mechanical Equipment Technician
If you enjoy getting hands-on and keeping things operational, you'll be vital to the RAF, ensuring our land operations run smoothly.
From airfield support vehicles to hydraulic systems, you'll learn to maintain diverse machinery, keeping everything moving wherever we operate. Your duties include repairing and adjusting a range of land-based vehicles and equipment.

* Minimum education requirements: GCSE grade C/4 in English, Maths, and a Science/Technology subject.
* Aged 16-47 (must attest before your 48th birthday).
* UK or dual UK/other nationality citizen.
* Commit to a minimum of 3 years post-training.
* Pass the Defence Aptitude Assessment and Fitness Test.
