Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Marketing Strategy: Work closely with Directors to create and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategy, focusing on driving sales for corporate and private events while growing membership.
- Event Sales Focus: Take ownership of sales for event spaces, targeting corporate and private clients, while enhancing the profile of meeting rooms and event offerings.
- Membership Retention: Collaborate with team to develop strategies aimed at retaining existing members and building strong, long-term relationships with them, ensuring membership growth and satisfaction. Manage implementation.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and develop sales and marketing team. Foster collaborative and results-oriented environment, ready to scale alongside business growth.
- Client Relationships: Act as key point of contact for high-profile clients and members. Lead client pitches, manage key relationships, and ensure smooth event execution.
- Data-Driven Approach: Track, analyse, and report on sales performance. Use insights to continually refine strategies and achieve better results.
- Collaboration: Work alongside other managers to ensure smooth coordination between events, membership management, and cafe operations.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in sales and marketing, ideally in hospitality or events sector.
- Strategic thinker who can create long-term plans and implement and execute those plans.
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable working directly with corporate clients, private clients, and members.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills, able to manage multiple projects and growing team.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tracking tools, using data to improve strategies.
