VANRATH are recruiting a Business Development & Marketing Executive to play an important role in helping our client grow their presence and the client base in the Northern Ireland market.
The post holder will be responsible for business development and will build strong relationships with our existing and prospective primary care stakeholders, including:
1. Consultants
2. GPs
3. Allied health professionals
Working across our three clinics in Northern Ireland, the Business Development Executive will be actively promoting our services, winning new business and partnerships. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator who is able to develop opportunities with new clients across various specialities within private healthcare, including, but not limited to:
1. Orthopaedics
2. Dermatology
3. Urology
4. General Surgery
5. Ophthalmology
6. Plastic Surgery
7. Physiotherapy
8. MRI imaging
This is an exciting role for someone passionate about building relationships with clients and helping to explore new avenues for the company as part of our growth strategy in Northern Ireland. This is a full-time role; however, depending on candidate experience, we are open to a flexible/part-time arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify business opportunities through developing new and maintaining existing working relationships.
2. Build a network and a database of consultants, GPs, opticians, physios, and other clinicians.
3. Assist in preparing marketing materials and obtain clinical content as required.
4. Engage in planning and participation of relevant meetings for healthcare professionals and attendance at meetings and exhibitions, with a view to promoting our service and researching our competition.
5. Organise and promote company events and educational evenings for our referrers and other healthcare practitioners.
6. Ensure that the promotions undertaken are within the terms of your training and other relevant guidelines.
7. Maintain a good relationship with your colleagues and remain informed about the work of our clinics in NI.
8. Manage and resolve referrer/consultant complaints in line with company guidelines and policy.
9. Remain familiar with the Company procedures relating to the reporting of Customer Complaints.
10. Participate in the staff development and individual performance review process.
Qualifications & Skills:
1. 1-2 years + in Business Development or Marketing.
2. Proficient with MS Office programmes.
3. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is highly advantageous.
4. Experience liaising with senior management teams.
5. Driving licence.
6. Very personable and knowledgeable to deal with; always took the time to understand and help out.
