We are recruiting a new member of staff to fulfil 25 hours per week over 5x 5 hour shifts 08.00-13.00, to include every other weekend, occasional additional hours may be required. £12.80 per hour. £16640.00 per annum.

• is professional, conscientious with strong integrity.
• is energetic; able to carry out manual handling tasks such as turning mattresses.
• is willing to undertake any training relevant to the role.
Knowledge and Experience
• has experience in similar role (preferable but not essential)
• has knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods.
• has knowledge of Licencing, Food Safety and Health & Safety legislation (or is willing to undertake training).
• has confidence with IT is able check booking systems, use a till, answer emails and able to complete basic stock check tasks and access an IT based rota system.
• has ability learn new tasks and contribute to efficient running of the business.
DBS check will be required
Main Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
• Greet guests, show them to their rooms, provide familiarisation and safety information.
• Provide a positive guest experience with exceptional customer service.
• Provide a professional bar service, take payments for bar, food and room services.
• Prepare the dining room for breakfast service and for functions.
• Prepare and serve the breakfast menu to guests, adhering to set standards.
• Turning guest rooms round in preparation for new guests, within set timeframes and to exacting standards.
• Carry out routine tasks such as inspecting and turning mattresses, checking appliances are in good working order, cleaning and refilling coffee machine etc.
• Carry out linen stock checks, prepare dirty laundry for collection and effectively store clean linen deliveries.
• Carry out in house laundry in a timely manner (mattress and pillow protectors, aprons and cloths etc)
• Clean and present public areas for a positive guest experience.
• Clean and sanitise kitchen and bar areas, supporting effective food safety.
• Contribute to the effective maintenance of the food safety management system.
• Contribute to effective stock management with rotation, efficient ordering and monthly stock takes.
• Monitor guest bookings, room allocations, arrival/departure times, special requests and dietary requirements.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of the building and guest belongings.
• Follow all company procedures.
• Report any maintenance issues, damaged property or safety hazards.
• respond to guest queries and communicate effectively with the team.
• Support the effective delivery of functions.
